Hi, does anyone on boards work for B&Q ? I was wondering what the dresscode there is like.

I know the floor staff wear black but what about supervisors and managers etc, anyone know.

    Hi,

Everyone wears pretty much the same. Black trousers or skirt, black shoes and everyone wears the orange pinny apart from showroom staff, who just wear black.

Managers and office staff are expected to wear the same. Im in hr so if you have any more questions just ask.

    Hi Beckys34

Seeing as your in HR, how would you apply for a job (Just go to a shop and give a CV to a manager or would I apply online, i don't see anything on your site) and is there any jobs going in any of your branches that you know of.

I'm about ready to go hit all the shops again, looking for work, any inside information would be grateful :D

    Hi,

If you go to diy.com there is a careers section at the bottom of the page, go to that, and then find your job. From there you should be able to search all our jobs by region, or job role.

All applications now have to be done online due to the recruitment process we follow, but if you pop into your nearest store any vacancies should be advertised on a board near the doors/ entrance.

    Hope this helps!

    Becky

    Hi,

Its monthly, so if your store achieves sales target every week in that period then you get the bonus. Provided you havent been off sick in that time.
