Hotpoint Fridge Freezing Food

Hi Everyone, My hotpoint fridge has started freezing the food, I've tried adjusting the temperature control (thermostat) but it doesn't make a difference, anyone have any suggestion what the problem might be ? Rockin

Have you lots of food hard up against the heat exchanger (the piece at the back that gets frosty).
This can block the cooling for the rest of the fridge and the thermostat thinks the fridge is not cool enough.
