eBay non paying bidder

I sold some tickets on eBay but the buyer has not forwarded payment. I said in my auction that payment must be remitted within 24 hours. I emailed him giving him a further 12 hours before I sell them elsewhere. What am I within my rights to do in this situation? These are tickets for a gig next weekend so I'm a little nervous about a protracted eBay dispute.

Maybe I'll wait the four days and raise the unpaid item report. See what happens then.

its a pity you cant leave negative feedback for them - i would still make a point of leaving feedback even if its positive just so you can say they are a 'NON PAYING BIDDER'.

better to say it in caps lock if the feedback below is non caps lock - you want it to stand out..

For time critical sales, I always set a Buy It Now with immediate payment

After raise the uupaid report if he/she has not paid you can close the case and ask the last bidder to buy or relist.

It's a pain in the arse selling on eBay with non paying bidders I always seem to get hit with them, you could try sending them a message reminding them to pay but they may well just ignore it in which case you just have to open the non paying bidder dispute after 4 days

I had this situation before and I got the buyers phone number and rang him telling him I needed to get the theatre tickets posted pronto or else he might not get them until after the play was over. Dealt with it nicely and had the money in my paypal account 10 mins later.
