Dublin Airport Vetting Procedure

Hi, A friend of mine has been provisionally offered a job in Dublin Airport but she is from eastern europe. Does anyone know the procedures that she will have to go through to get clearance to work in the airport and how long it might take. It would be reasonably straightforward for an irish person, just go through Garda vetting. I was thinking that there are a huge number of foreign staff in the airport anyway, does anyone know do they require special permission from DAA to work there?

If anyone knows for sure, please let me know. The prospective employer is on holidays for the next week so cant ask her.

    Thanks in advance

They will write to the police in her home country for a police certificate.
Once that is received by the Gardai she will be vetted and either approved/not approved.
