You have to go to the customer services desk and ask them for a username and password and you can try to log on then, the username and password are single use only to stop anyone from using the internets of Irish Rail without permission.

It is the same in Heuston and wharever else they have free WiFi in a station, Cork possibly?

it is not worth the hassle really.

Trust Irish Rail to turn something good that might benefit customers into a steaming turd.

So the wifi is for customer use is it? I did not know this! On the other hand, it's not too different from a pub or a café where you have to ask the staff for the password there.

True and it stops people in taxis and other cars parking up outside and stealing the WiFi.

I tried it on Tuesday and couldn't get the Irish Rail one - I get the impression it was only in Heuston, not Connolly.

You can however get the "Heiniken Wi-Fi" in the Oslo Bar.

That Heiniken wifi never works in Busárse, it connects fine but that's as far as it goes.

And Connolly station has more to worry about than the WiFi, no lift or escalators tonight down to the Luas and the other lift was saturated in urine and only one staff member covering the whole place but stuck on the gate after 7.30pm.
