Leaving Job for another

I had a phone interview for a dream job recently, but I've just been told that hiring for my position is on hold for a few weeks. I have a couple more interviews coming but I really want this one, and I've been told I'm on the 'short list'.

I was wondering, if I accept another job in the meantime, how difficult would it be to leave it for my preferred job if I get accepted?

It'd be a lot less difficult than staying in your current job (which you clearly want out of), because you miss out on the dream job and didn't go for the others.

I'm actually a graduate i.e. without a job, so I want to take the less favourable job in case I don't get the dream one
