    Hi,
Can anybody recommend a nice 4/5 star hotel close to beach, old town and new town in Albufeira, want to be able to walk between everything.

Would have about 750 to spend on 9 nights end of Sept.

    Any help would be great

Clube Praia da Oura is perfectly positioned, it near the strip and nearly on the beach. The only problem is when you want to up to the strip there is a serious hill they call heart attack hill.

was just checking out booking.com and anything decent in that area for a 1 bed is around 800 euro. I was also checking for September for 9 nights... Is it always that kind of price?

in CPO, you can get a lift up to street level thereby avoiding Cardiac Hill.

Try hotelscombined.com to get the best price through a booking web site, then book through hotels.com or expedia.com using a 10% off voucher code (available every few weeks) and go through bethrifty.ie and get an additional 10% off (once stay has been completed) - every little discount helps.

CPO is perfectly positioned - walk to beach, walk to lots of bars/restaurants nearby, 5-10 mins (if even) walk to Strip once you come out of CPO lift, taxi rank just outside for €4-5 taxi ride into Old Town. HTH

if you want a 4 star hotel, the best one is probably Vila Gale. the main road of Albufeira is made up of 3 large hotels, the paraiso, brisa sol and vila gale. our personal favourite is the vila gale.
