    Hi

I had a leak from upstairs through kitchen plaster board ended up with two large holes in kitchen wall. I used big GAp filler and the sander , have it back looking near enough perfect again , but despite 4 coats of paint on it , if you look at the wall from an angle you can clearly see the roughness of the plaster board caused
By the sanding.... Is there any good undercoat anyone would recommend that would do the job to take the rough look off it?
Thks polybond ..can this be used directly on to already painted ( number of times) walls made from plasterboard ???
    Many thanks

You'll probably struggle to hide it completely as the surface of the fix is different to the skim on the rest of the wall.

Try drywall joint filler, it gives a good finnish.

Yes, Joint Filler is the way to go .Put on one coat and let it harden, then close in with a second. Sand with 100 grit paper the following day.

Use a finer grade sand paper and sand by hand.
