How long is a panel kept active ? How to find out ..

    Hi - I went for position of EO within RSA about 4 years ago and was placed on an external panel. Does anyone know whether this panel is still active or whether a new recruitment drive has taken place? Who can I contact to find out about this. I suspect very little change in this due to the embargo, but would like to find out. Any info would be great, Thanks

    As far as I'm aware most panels of this nature are kept for 12 months with the possibility of being extended for a further 12 months if necessary but rarely beyond that.

    Should the embargo be lifted I would seriously doubt a panel from 4 years ago will be used.

    Have you contacted the HR department you dealt with when you interviewed? I'm sure they could clarify the situation for you.
