Grant during Erasmus Year

Hi, I'm looking for information regarding grant application for Erasmus Year. If a student going into 2nd year, is going abroad for Erasmus year and has received full (non adjacent) maintenance and registration fees in first year, are they likely to receive the same for this year? Bearing in mind that they are studying a language but the period required for foreign study by the university is 3 months but they will be going for a full academic year. Also there is an amount of 1,500 euro given by the college towards living expenses abroad. If anyone has any experience of this I would be very grateful to hear. I can't seem to find any info in the rules regarding this but perhaps I am overlooking something.
    Thanks

    Hi,

If you get the full grant you will get that again unless you there is a change of circumstances re: your parents.

The assistance from the college is the Erasmus grant, this depends on where you go. It's more in countries that are more expensive etc.

There are also scholarships and bursaries from the country or embassy etc. which you need to look about early which I didn't do...

Thanks for that info, it's good to know.
I guess I'm just worried about the fact that it is not
compulsory for me to spend a full year abroad but I guess if stayed here they would be paying the grant anyway. I'll get the application in and see what happens. Thanks again
