threaded fork replacement

    does anyone have a decent guide for installing the fork on my road bike? its a threaded fork. i find sheldon brown explanation a bit confusing and YouTube isn't helping me much. thanks.

    make sure the rake of the new fork is the same as the old fork, its best to use the correct tools for removing and swapping the head set crown race to the new forks. it shouldnt be too difficult a job, cutting the steerer down to the correct size doesnt have to be as tidy as with a threadless steere

    It's actually the same fork, although I had terrible difficulty getting it off so I got the LBS to do it for me. I want to learn how to do it myself now.
