    Well lads..
Stocked up on 28 grams, 7.5.. white gold.. and also decided to get 3 bulks of "Bespoke" 6-30 gram.. havent a clue what there like but sure its worth a try.. expensive stuff to.. Full choke all the way.. keep her tight :P ha..

I was shooting a field of lodged winter oats for a farmer a few days ago and the pigeons had no interest in coming into the spinner.. it was misty, windy and i had fake full flocked decoys on the spinner.. shot a load of crows but not many pigeons.. mabye 10 or so.. it was the afternoon.. also tried at 6am a few days before that and it was the same situation??

any ideas on what could be wrong?? i was well hid, i was like a walking ditch in the oats to be honest.. :) so thats put of the question too..

The last couple of times I've gone out I took in the spinner as I reacon it was starting to spook them. The floaters are great. A friend is having huge success at the moment with nothing more than a few decoys and a flapper. He's stopped using the spinner aswell.

There is hundreds on it.. ha.. :) Yeah, i suppose the spinner could spoke them alri.. how much are the flappers? is that just a single full flocked decoy, obviously with wings on a small thin pole??

Just to say as i was in work today my brother rang me and said that the pigeons wont stop coming in.. he was shooting in a different area in the field nearer to the flight line this time and he clocked up 35 or 40 in less than an hour.. he said he just changed the decoys on the spinner.. got them off a friend.. :)
