Playing here for the first time tomorrow lads and, so I'm told, I'm in for a treat!

Any tips from anyone who's played it before?

Hit it straight. It's a mature course with lots of trees and if you go deep into them the best you can do is punch it back out onto the fairway. If you're not straight with the driver use a 3 wood or an iron on holes where the trees come into play.

The fourth doesnt need much more than a 3/4 iron off the tee, otherwise you risk serious trouble.
Its hard to be too far right on the 6th off the tee.
On the 8th you can go further left than you think off the tee.

    Enjoy, its a nice course.

Wish I'd seen this before I went out! Lost ball on 4th - pity, cos such a great little golf hole... Overall, I lvoed the course - can't believe I've never played there before, it's 20 mins from my house. Place was in great nick, weather was fantastic and greens, as promised, were slick as heck!

Played quite well, a real test of your driving although most holes are not as narrow as they appear from the tee.

Will definitely be back, five par threes but all of them very nice. Thought the index 1 was a great hole and I played it very well - good drive to the top of the hill and a nice five-iron to the middle of the green for a very satisfying par.

A lovely welcome too from the assistant pro who told me there was no less than three societies there today - place was heaving as we finished at 18, good to see.

I'll certainly be back - a thoroughly enjoyable round of golf.
