BMW 316i correct oil

    Hi folks im just wondering what is the correct oil that goes into a BMW 316i yr 2000, there is 119000 miles on the clock, im thinking of doing an oil flush as i dont know what oil was put in before i bought the car.

    Go to www.castrol.co.uk and it will tell you the spec and the amount it needs. I wouldn't bother with the engine flush unless the oil is really bad, sometimes that can cause more trouble than it's worth.
