    Restoring one with my father at the mo. '79 type 2, originally a panel can but converted in England sometime in the late 80's. Total rebuild, brakes and suspension done, inteior stripped and a box of parts ready to go. Just put in a refurbed 1600 twin carb. Next job is prep and paint, but we're going to get that done by a pro. Will be next summer before it sees the road proper though!
