Rodney Goggins today beat Judd Trump 5-1 today, while Ken Doherty beat Mark Williams 5-4. Both the irish lads looking good to qualify from their groups, i think Goggins is assured progression after winning all his matches, so the knockout phase should be interesting

Yeah watched a bit of it today, it was certainly interesting.

Certainly there is no real room for poor play, was watching Selby play the first three frames, got in and it was over. Tactical players could be at a disadvantage.

    Well worth a look.

Shaun Murphy will play Mark Davis in the final, I havnt really been watching a lot of this event this week but Irish amateur Rodney Goggins did enjoy a good run this week by topping his group with five wins from five only to lose his match in the knock out round.
