Hi there, I haven't done the management program but i've done the Marketing program and recently graduated and its basically the same course bar 2 courses each semester. from what my classmates in the program have told me about there extra courses they didn't seem to problematic. Example was the Market v Management problem based learning module, both different subjects however management ended up with 70-80% where as our marketing ended up 60-70%.

the courses that all MBS classes undertake include Entrep & Innovation, Business Dev cases, Business Simulation 1, Bus Sim 2, a study trip & seminar series. i dint put full devotion into my masters and still ended up with 65%.

Its a good program and shouldnt have much issues in the management course.

Thats interesting to hear that the marketing and management are simular in some respects, may I ask you during the summer months (July to August) is it possible to have a summer job while doing the MBS because I usually do a 9-5 job mon-fri for a month in July?

Has doing the MBS being worthwhile for yourself?

    Thanks for your feedback

The semester stops in may and the dissertation is handed up in August so your free all that time.

It's an interesting course to say the least. but it's not only Management & marketing that collaborate its also Accountancy (One module), human resources (two modules), tourism (One module), economics and finance (Two modules) that mix in various modules.

Personally i found the Masters program more focused on the development of individuality through the various collaborations rather than the specific module title. Which is a different context to what i had previously thought.

The Business Simulation module is where you collaborate with with Mrkting, Mgmt, E&F & HR to create and simulate an online business. Its an interesting concept (Our team won this)

Seminar Serious/Entrep & innovation/ Study trip allows students to interact with various business professional, entreps, politics, authors etc. In addition i've found this relevant in Interviews as you critically assess & provide recommendations to the organisations as part of academic evaluation.

Also personally I never found the MBS difficult but very time consuming. But from a professional point of view a masters is guaranted to get you an interview at least. I was looking up Vodafone Grad places this year 18 of the 20 had masters.
