    Do they exist?

I'm struggling and I thought that at this stage some bank in Ireland would provide actual student loans like the UK and other countries provide. But seems that yes they do provide but only for reg fee and you have to make repayments while still in college.... does that not defeat the purpose of a student loan?

Have I just missed something, is there anyone out there that will provide me with the student loan I need and allow me to finish my studies without having to get full time work on top of college?

    MOD COMMENT:
This appears to be an OP better addressed by Student Finances than Irish Economy. It will be moved shortly, locked, so that the SF mods may evaluate it for appropriateness.
