Advice needed on fillings fiasco

Hi, looking for some opinions on my recent experience. I hadn't been to dentist in almost 2 years but had no complaints, no pain and I'm pretty vigilant with my dental routine. I went to a new dentist for a check-up. This dentist examined me and told me that I needed 7 new fillings. I am 27 years old and until then had only 2 fillings (both done in my early teens). Needless to say I was horrified. She told me to make a series of appointments.

I came back to get two fillings on my lower right molars. They are on the outside of the tooth, along the gum line. They are extremely lumpy and rough to touch (I feel like they're never clean) and ever since getting them I have extreme sensitivity in (I think) the tooth next to the two filled ones. I never had this sensitivity before and now I won't chew on this side of my mouth.

I went back again to get a filling on my right upper molar. I mentioned the sensitivity and roughness of the lower two fillings. She filed them a bit (no help) and ignored the sensitivity issue.

So after this I was not happy with the service I was getting. I made my next appointment with another dentist in the same surgery (she is owner/partner I think). I made the appointment for two more fillings and went in. This other dentist examined where these four other fillings were highlighted on my file, and told me that she could see no decay or anything (she she really prodded) and that I didn't need any fillings. She seemed quite angry when she told me about this. I asked about the three that I had already gotten and she kinds just said "oh, well im sure the other dentist did those first because they really needed filling" and so on. I left the surgery absolutely livid and stunned, and over 350 euros down.

That was about 3 months ago, and I've had no contact with the surgery. What should I do?

Your first priority should be to attend a dentist to resolve the sensitivity& smooth the fillings....3 months is a long time to suffer.
The second dentist sounds quite ethical& honest- if you feel comfortable attending her, do. Equally you may prefer an opinion from a dentist outside the practice, whatever you're comfortable with.
Anyway, once you find out what exactly the issues are, &more importantly, how they can be resolved, you'll be in a better place.
Just don't delay much longer, it's not good for your general or dental health.

Do you think anything can be done about the sensitivity? I'm using sensitive toothpastes but it's not helping.
