So in the 'boardsies current grades thread' someone was decent enough to pop a video of their first fight up and I thought it a very nice idea for a thread. Somewhere we can post videos of us in action whether it be fights/interclubs/grading whatever.

Somewhere away from the cool pics/vids thread where we might look a bit tame in comparison to the best in the world.


Anyway this was me in my first fight a few years ago, I wince a little as I like to think I've improved since then, still I loved every minute and it got me utterly hooked on the sport I love. I'm in red btw.

Haha well I admit Ray did sell me those fite rite shorts, still, he was definitely one of the best coaches I've ever had.


@dantheman For amateur fights you wear shinnies, body armor, helmet and 16oz gloves. When you move up to pro its just 8oz gloves.

anyway heres my token effort from about 4months ago. Im just training for fun, here's a video of myself fighting at an inter club competition. I'm wearing the black head gard with yellow on my trousers (and no... its not piss).
both of us were white belts, and both of us hadn't faught before, was good caric.

I kinda cringe looking at it to be honest, I hunch over way too much, and Im too stiff. so hoping to make some serious improvements.
