Galaxy note - settings for internet and email

    I've just picked up a galaxy note - running icecream sandwich. I want to setup internet access (via vodafone) and email - but failing.

    For internet, I'm getting "authentication via the proxy server was unsuccessful". I have disabled proxy under apn settings??? Anyone got the knowledge on this?

    When I try to setup email - whether imap or pop - it comes back with "setup could not finish" "unable to connect to server"



    Can anyone help?

    Disregard the above - resolved.

    It looks like I needed to carry out a full 'restart' before changes would take effect.
