Ford Focus Central Locking Issue

    Hi All,

    I just bought a 03 Ford Focus few days ago but have run into some difficulties.
    Yesterday 2 July was polishing up the car and there was few lads commenting on the boot that it was not flush on one side. so they adjusted the rubber that is on the door to solve the problem while doing this i was pressing the button on the dash to relase the boot. When they were finished they closed the boot and went off. I went back to my polishing. I then opened the drivers door and took out the key, realising i left something in the boot i used the key fob to open the boot Ford3bnblade.jpg
    I go to the boot and then close the boot. Then after about 15 seconds the car locked and unlocked without me doing anything. I went to the drivers door to put the key back in as soon as i opened it this alarm went off. Like the alarm to remind you, you have left your lights on. Hoping the alarm would go off i put the key into the ignition but made no difference. after a few mins we started it still made no difference.

    Now the Key fob wont lock any of the doors(putting the key into the barrel works but each door is manual) they just unlock, the drivers door has gone manual and the same with the passengers door. The whole locking system is messed up.

    Any help appreciated. The alarm is the most annoying of the lot. not the mention cant lock the car unless you do each door like the prehistoric ages :pac: Have the battery disconnected for the night to see if the car will reset itself.
