Good to see these new Biometric passports working. Second batch of runners found out using it in the last month.

Regarding the biological passports, people seem to not be getting it that's going to be a big part of the case against LA. They keep shrieking "he never tested positive" but that's very naive. Subtle changes in blood composition are hugely important now as indicators of doping.

Read http://nyvelocity.com/content/interviews/2012/behind-scenes-contador-cas-hearing-michael-ashenden to get a really good idea of this. One of the amazing parts was how they now use EPO as a masking agent to cover blood transfusions.

    And more :

European 800m champion Yelena Arzhakova has been banned for two years as her biological passport shows an “abnormal haemoglobin profile”

Reports on Tuesday also confirmed that London 2012 discus silver medallist Darya Pishchalnikova has also received a ban, but for 10 years as she failed a drugs test for the second time.

I think it's well worth reading the Tyler Hamilton book if you've any interest in doping in sport, no matter what sport you're interested in, as it really shows how far ahead the athletes tend to be given their financial resources.

I read it and it really is an eyeopener. As far as im concerned most pro sports are dirty but the powers thst be dont want to know . Just look at the golf last week. As tyler hamilton said it was either take drugs or get out.
