Minorca in August

    A few weeks ago I put up a thread asking for tips about Majorca in August.

    However, as things turned out we have booked an apartment in Cala n'Bosch, Minorca.

    Any tips, dos or donts about the resort of the island gratefully received.

    watch out for speed cameras.

    Other than that, menorca is a smaller, relatively unspoilt version of Majorca.

    Try and get to Mahon if you can, it is a love town. There are also some amazing beaches that can only be reached if you have a car, but heed my first comment

    Thanks for that, Fred.

    Unfortunately we are likely to be carless, and so dependent on bus or taxi.

    Still, it sounds like our sort of place nonetheless.
