printing from cd

    If i print from a cd in a public pc will the content be recorded on the pc

    The content generally will need to open in an application to be able to print and if that application caches the data then yes, there will be a copy of it locally. Depends on what it is really.

    Check and see if the printer has a USB port or a card reader (most modern ones do now) and you can try and print it directly on the printer, transfer the files to a card or USB stick first.

    You could copy the file(s) to the pc, print, then delete them afterwards.

    Wouldn't the PC still cache the document(s) in a temp folder for the spool?

    Hmm. Would a net stop spool and a net start spool reset that or just the likes of a ccleaner wipe?

    I was asuming the computer is not owned by the user and maybe does not have access to certain program and folders and therefore cannot delete the temp files.
    If they have access then yes, ccleaner is the job.

    Yeah, was thinking that.

    Could have the portable version running on the key. Although I'd say .exe's might be blocked if it's a net café pc.
