UPC box says connection loose but it isnt

    Ive switched on the box today and about to start channel hopping when i see this message to say there may be a loose connection . Surely this cant be the case if the thing can even display stuff on the TV?

    Anyone ever see similar?

    Yes, more than once, and the problem was not with my box or tv.

    Customer service admitted the problem was with UPC remote equipment. Nothing to do but wait for them to fix the problem. All the faffing about checking connections and resetting was pointless.

    I don't think my call hastened any repair but I did have the satisfaction of making a complaint.
    Be patient for a few hours and save your phone bill, I'd suggest. Oh look, the rain's stopped!
