Noticed Aerlingus are status matching BMI Diamond club members to gold circle club. This seems a very good offer if you had BMI blue level membership. Blue BMI membership basically had no benefits but the most basic gold circle membership gives lounge access. Did EI you could get BMI blue without even taking a flight and…

Noticed Aerlingus are status matching BMI Diamond club members to gold circle club. This seems a very good offer if you had BMI blue level membership. Did EI you could get BMI blue without even taking a flight and they say they'll status match this to gold cicrle?

Seems almost too good to be true but I'll certainly fly more EI if they do status match BMI blue.

They did indeed match Diamond club blue to Gold circle Gold tier. Nice to have lounge access when flying EI now!
