    Hi,

I have a 2008 Dell Vostro 1700 laptop with vista.

I want to reset the laptop back to its factory setting and give it to my nephew.

    It has a C: and D: drive.

The C: drive has vista and all my programs/files

The D: drive is labelled "recovery" and i have never used it.

I have the vista and drivers/utilities Cd's and product key.

    I don't need/want my files/programs anymore.

What do I need to do, to reset the laptop back to when it was new.

    Thanks
