I've got a 94 316 and there's a serious judder in the clutch when moving away in 1st gear. It only happens in warm weather when in stop start traffic. Does anyone know if this means the clutch needs to be changed or are there other things to check out first. Thanks.

It could be something wrong with the clutch, it could be caused by something leaking onto the clutch, but the cheapest and easiest thing to try which could solve your problem is to run some new fluid through the system. It will cost you very little and I have seen it solve this kind of problem in the past.
