Come play for the Bondi Gaels – Your local club away from home!
The Bondi Gaels are Sydney’s newest GAA club founded in January 2012. We have entered a team in the senior football League and Championship and are currently interested in hearing from any players who are interested in joining up for both social and sporting objectives. As a club we have much more of a home club feel possibly compared to some of the larger clubs in Sydney where they have massive squads and intensive physical training for the year. While we do train hard, we train 95% of the time with the ball in our hand. The club is both for serious and social footballers alike. Away from the pitch we maintain a good community in terms of helping lads in terms of job contacts, accommodation etc. along with social outings. The Bondi Gaels first league campaign showed great promise staying within 3-4 points of the two eventual finalists in the respective matches. We are intent to kick on from here. Whether already in Sydney or looking for a club for when you move out you are more than welcome. For more information please contact <snip>. Good stuff Davy.

I know quite a few of the lads on the team and although I don't play I have to say they are a great bunch of lads. Bit too much of a hint of Roscommon in the ranks for my liking though being a Meath man! :p

Hope all continues to go well.

    Alan
