Nissan Juke is it the ugliest car you see daily on the Irish roads? Why would you buy it when you can get better looking cars for less?

You'd buy it to be different. It isn't have many direct rivals, being smaller than your usual small crossover type yoke.

You'd think they'd be bought by young daring types, but any time I see one, Moses is driving.

I hate them, but I'd have a lot of respect for someone who bought one. They're sinfully ugly round the front, but strangely that kind of makes it cooler.

Crossovers are Pointless. just a way of wasting money they are worse than most cars in the same price range and you cant go off road.

    Cool, then don't buy one.

Some people like a car that's high up, the best way to sell tall cars is to make them look like they can go off road.

They're only 20k, not as much of a waste as a land cruiser or range rover for 70k which can go offroad but never does.

If I had the money I'd buy one- just for the hell of it. You have to give Nissan some credit for bringing out something which is completely whacky.... therefore interesting.

You know it'd be over €200,000 right?

Also it won't get the cheap tax :)

Just get a 1.5 dCi and remap it.

Borrows just a little bit too much styling from the Micra in my opinion, could possibly look good with a facelift the Juke-R is a bit better looking.

Don't let it bother you so much. Just move on.

Gf's dad had one for a few weeks. He works in Nissan so he tries everything for a while.
It was very small inside but not uncomfortable, the trim was interesting and not as cheap as "similar" cars I've been in. The engine seemed strong enough, can't remember which it was, most powerfull diesel anyway.

I definitely wouldn't call it a bad car. It's not for everyone but it's decent enough like.

I wouldn't buy one myself but I prefer sports cars to family run abouts so there ya go. :)

For years small family run arounds all looked the same, basic 2 box design. Only high end cars had any design/flair/individuality.

Now people can have the design/flair/individuality with the smaller size, cheap purchase price and low running costs so its obvious why cars like the Juke are popular.
