Sony Vaio Won't Boot

Ok so i got this Sony Vaio laptop... basically it won't turn on at all. The power light comes on and just just turns off after a few seconds.. I was thinking that the it might be something wrong with the Bios..i think there is a problem with the power adapter as you have to hold in the charger quite hard to get it to power…

Ok so i got this Sony Vaio laptop... basically it won't turn on at all. The power light comes on and just just turns off after a few seconds.. I'm thinking it's either a problem with the bios or Motherboard.. but is there any other possible causes or anything i can try to see if it works...
