UPC Remote codes?

    UPC Digital+ Box was giving trouble over the last few months, so put in for a service call. A Guy called to day and sorted it, but reprogrammed the remote! Before now my single upc remote turned up/down my lg tv without having to press tv button. I now have upc box volume control, not as good as tv volume control. If I press tv control on remote screen goes blank and have press upc button twice to get back. I have tried all the lg codes and the UPC site..can't solve problem. What ever code the original technician uses is wiped. Any ideas please.

    Not so much that the tech unprogrammed your remote. He cancelled the volume "punch-through" to put it back on
    f you would like to use your UPC Digital+ remote to control the volume on your television, you can easily do this by completing the following steps:

    - Press the UPC button. The button will illuminate once.
    - Press and together until the UPC button flashes twice
    - Enter code: 993 or 991 (after the last digit the UPC button flashes twice again). Depending on the model of your TV you may need another code. Click here to get a list of codes from the Manual (page 35)
    - Hold down the volume up button (the UPC button should flash four times)

    You can now use your Digital+ remote to control the volume on your television.

    Please be advised that you won't see anything happen on your television or the digital box whilst you're completing these steps.

    Thanks for the reply... but I tried the procedure you posted and used the codes as listed on the UPC website, but still no good...what am I doing wrong or are there other codes out there for the mentioned TV. Thanks again

    Try this:
    1. Press <UPC> button.
    2. Press and hold <OK>&<Red Button> until the LED blinks twice.
    3. Enter 9-9-3 (LED of currently controlled device blinks twice) then <TV> (TV LED blinks twice).
    4. Volume buttons on UPC remote now control TV volume only.

    If that doesn't work try the above with the tv codes from the manual for your UPC box from the UPC site.
