    congrats on your kid etc, but tbh, I dont know what kind of groups your hanging around with, they are either trying to just point out some bits of advice regarding the advantages of christening, or they are hardcore catholics which are becoming few and far between.

    But if its the former, they may have a slight point, but this day and age its definitely not that big an issue.

    All religions are cults to an extent,theres nothing new there tbh. But real cults , as we know them, arent really the same as something like catholicism or big religions, even though the comparisons are similar.
