Can i build a desktop for 300euro+?

Hi i need a new PC for college work , i can't find a portable laptop i want for a resonable price so i'm going to see if i can build a desktop myself.

I need a pc that can run a few programs at a time. At the minute i'm using an Acer revo 3600 atom processor so i reckon anything will be faster than it.

Just been browsing the forum and hardwareversand.de seems like the place to order from.

Is it possible to build a pc with a max 300-400 budget?

Fill that out and someone should be able to come up with some sort of build.

Cool thanks, i might just go for a normal harddrive to keep the costs down.
Sorry but is everything i'd need there? I'll buy what's on the list and then build it and it will work?........All very exciting

I'm not sure would i go for the SSD as the only drive in the pc, is 128gb enough?

Xilinx is fairly big iirc, depending on the version so is visual studio.

Nah, better value in building your own. Ebuyer don't deliver to Ireland in any case.
