my friend has purchased an 11 ton, 3 car, 24ft bed, recovery lorry in England and was wondering what the best and cheapest way to bring it home, its mot but no tax.
he was thinking of a guy with a low loader but would be handy too if a trader etc wanted to take a few cars home from auctions houses In England it would save them money too or maybe someone on here goes out to England to buy cars or jeeps and could take it home.. would take 3 small tractors and other machinery too

He cant drive it home himself as its an 11ton lorry and does not have the licence for it..

A crowd that I used to work for used to get them delivered to the port by the seller (t/u's or trailers) and we used to collect them at this side. Was very straight forward. You might have a issue with haulage license etc, if someone was to use it in uk to bring back cars/ tractors. UK authorities not as forgiving as here, especially as it has no road tax.
Best to get it shipped in.
