    Morning all.

I'm gonna get a tablet in the near future and I'm torn between breaking the bank for an iPad, or getting some sort of Chinese Android tablet.
I've been using the iPhone for years, and that's kinda what I'm used to. The young fella uses it too, and gets great mileage out of Jetpack Joyride.

And that's where this question came from.

I did a search, and found out that JJ isn't available on Android!
So I'm wondering is there anything game-wise the other way ie. Android only?

Probably loads but more likely to be unpolished and made by smaller development teams as Android is easier to get into development for. Your question is much too broad for anyone to give exact examples. In my opinion your only wasting your money buying a cheap Chinese tablet, either save up for the iPad or a decent Android tablet.

i was in the same predicament as you , in the end i got an ipad even though i use an android phone.

i can imagine some sort of Chinese Android tablet is going to be crap in quality, if your going for an android tablet then get a decent one, which will be similar in prince to an ipad.

Besides you use an iPhone so all the apps on that will be brought over to the ipad and if they have ipad versions they be downloaded instead (most of the time)

    Thanks guys.

I realise it's a broad question, but there are certain games that have a pretty big iOS following (Tiny Wings, etc.), and I was wondering if there are similar "cult" games/apps on Android.

Certainly don't need an exhaustive list. Don't think I'd stay awake to read all that! ;)

I doubt there would be that many to be honest. Any big games are usually already hits on iOS and ported to Android rather than the other way round.

You can browse the Android Market here (I know it's called 'Play' now, haven't got used to that yet..)

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/category/GAME

Instead of one iPad you could get two Nexus 7's. ;)

Will 2 of them allow me to play Jetpack on Android?;)
