Fencing Clubs in Cork Area

I am interested in taking up fencing but I seem to struggle to find a club in Cork..

UCC takes on new members at the Mardyke but seems to be taking UCC students only.

The link http://www.irishfencing.net/clubs/clubs.html provides a list of clubs in Ireland, listing UCC and Cyrano Fencing Salle for the Cork area - however, http://www.cyranofencing.com/ seems to be a dead end..

    Can anyone help please?

I had thought before we had a fencing forum, but apparently not, so I think your best bet is the Cork forum instead:

    Thank you!

I just received some more information - for anyone that might be interested:

The correct link is www.cyranofencingsalle.com and there you can find times, location and a link to their facebook page!

Trainig is held every Wednesday from 7pm to 9 pm at the Blarbney Street community centre (Cork).

Cyrano has all the gear that is needed to begin and people will buy their own gear later if they feel they are going to carry on.

Annual fee is €200 but they offer the first 8 weeks for €80 as an introduction.

    People can start any time.

For further information you can contact john@havanafencing.com

    Happy Fencing

(I really think there should be a Fencing Forum btw!!)
