Things to do in Waterford with my Dublin girlfriend.

    What exciting things are there to do in Waterford city in the evening with my girlfriend. She's coming down for a few days from Dublin (where there are a million fun things to do) and we don't want to go out in town every night. I don't want her to get bored. What's an interesting and fun thing to do for the evening/night?

    Funny the way some fun things to do in Waterford are outside of Waterford :pac:

    Similar situation as OP, actually.

    There's Dunmore East Adventure Centre if she's into active pastimes.
    You can go to Waterford Crystal, museums, galleries in the city if she's into that.
    Give her some blaas.

    Ah wyse theres loads to do,you could bring her to the cinema one night, bring her for a spin out to dunmore another and have a few drinks, mini golf in tramore, the arcade, ya could go to a museum or just stay in and make your own fun.

    • go see a band
    • go see a show in theatre royal (make sure seats are decent) or garter lane where all the seats are good
    • Dinner in loads of restaurants
    • Pubs (Downes, T&H, Geoffs, etc etc)
    • day trip to Lismore (one of the nicest places in Ireland)
    • Waterford Crystal
    • Museums
    • Tramore: beach, metalman, amusements/arcades if raining, Candyfloss, bring back old skool memories of childhood etc.
    • Comeraghs: nice walk, waterfall, magic road
    • Try Metalman and Dungarvan beer.
    • Suir valley narrow gauge railway
    • Some shopping
