Firefox image border

In a recent Firefox update (last few months or so), they implemented a stylesheet for viewing images which centres the image on a dark background. I hated it so used the "Old Image Style" addon to remove it and revert to the original behaviour. However, since Firefox 13 it doesn't seem to work right. It works fine on most sites but if I view an attached image on Boards it shows up in the new style.

Is there any other way I can get rid of this? It's hopeless with transparent images and always fools me into thinking it's an overlay rather than a direct image link.
