    Hi,

a few weeks back when filling petrol the cap has gone.. it wasnt attached by string for the past few years and it wasnt screwed back on. so for the past few weeks there has been no cap. im not sure how dangerous this is but im sure can be and need to sort this a.s.a.p

i know which station it happened in and i went back and a guy mentioned there was a cap but when he checked he couldnt find it..so it was either thrown out or someone took it

the car is a ford fiesta '03 im wondering where is the best place to get replacement? is the best thing to google it and and purchase 1 online somewhere?

    thanks in advance

Try a few breakers, failing that try ebay.

Halfords have them, I'd say any motor factors would, possibly even some petrol stations, shouldn't be more than €5 I would think.

I wouldn't be happy with one of those universal caps.

Those universal caps are an NCT fail.
