Accounting Exemptions

I am about to start college in september,the plan being to become an accountant. I am unsure whether I apply for the exemptions i will receive from the course before i enrol or after the course and when i have finished college. The plan is to go to Chartered Accountants Ireland. So basicly apply now or in 4 years after…

You apply for the exemptions from CAP1 after you've completed your undergrad degree. Assuming you're doing the BA in Accounting and Finance, these are the modules you're required to pass for full CAP1 exemptions: http://students.charteredaccountants.ie/Student-Information/Courses/Exemptions/DCUBAF/.
