Car mileage different to Motorcheck report

    Hi i bought a car in august 2011 with 30000 miles on it from a simi dealer. i've been having a few problems with the car so today i done a motorcheck report as i doubted the mileage and previous owners records.
    Basically the amount of owners is correct but the mileage is not.
    16 months previous to me buying it the car had 35000 mile recorded on motorcheck and 9 months prior to when i bought it the car had 40000 miles recorded.

    Feb 2010 - 35000
    Nov 2010 - 40000
    Aug 2011 - 30000 (when i bought it)
    Do i have any come back?

    It is possible that the first 2 entries are in km and the 3rd entry is in miles? Motorcheck is a member of boards, drop him a pm and I'm sure he will help clear it up.

    No there is only 2 entries
    Feb 2010 - 57,396 Kms (35664Mls)
    Nov 2010 - 64,374 Kms (40000Mls)

    The third entry i added myself to the post to show what was on the odometer when i bought it.
    it is a strange one as i have opcom and it is showing the current reading.

    Ok, drop Motorcheck a private message, he may be able to through some light on it.

    If it has been clocked I really cannot see what you can do about it now nearly 12 months after purchase which is when the motorcheck report should have been got.
