Hi all, always wanted to rent a chalet but always left it too late to organise so I'm going to get on it early this year.

Preferably St Anton but not restricted to here by any means.

Has anyone any tips?

Can anyone recommend a good website/operator to book with? i.e preferably independent from crystal/Topflight et al.

Probably want to include some more info, self catering or chalet board, how many people, proximity to slopes etc.

We did a week self catering in a modern apartment in Bad Hofgastein. Great skiing, took a day to get get our heads around the ski busses though. Booked directly with http://www.alpenparks.at/

10 - 15 people, catered chalet preferred. Ideally located near slopes and town.

The sites I've found aren't great so it's really a few links I'm after if anyone has any.

The chalet thing is not so big in Austria as with other ski destinations, thats not to say they cant be found, but you may find they are luxury chalets and thus very expensive.

You may find self catering apartments are more popular. You can find very large ones that have many bedrooms or rent a couple of apartments in the same complex.
