New Irish Coast Guard helicopter service launched today 1st July. The S-92 is now the frontline asset operating out of Shannon, started duty at lunch time yesterday.

I saw the coast guard helicopter fly over my house towards Bantry yesterday and again on its way back to base about an hour or two later. I wonder did something happen at sea down there yesterday?
