Trouble with new PC (GPU related I think)

Hey, I just got a new PC shipped yesterday from hardwareversand. It was assembled by them so I am not sure if there is something inside that is wrong. But my problem is every 10/20 minutes my screen goes like this

I don't think the HDMi cable is faulty cause I switched it with another HDmi cable and the same thing happened.

It is not the moniter because it is a TV, and when I change channel the colours are normal again.

I have the latest drivers installed for the graphics card.

When it happens, you can make it go back to normal by plugging out and in the HDMI.

I will ring the company I ordered from on Monday if I haven't found a solution by then. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks.

First of all, test the HDMI cable with another monitor/tv.

Then test another monitor, you need to test away from the problem by ruling out the TV/Monitor. Then you will find out if it is the GPU.

by the sound of it this looks like a faulty HDMI on the TV.

I have switched the HDMI with the HDMI I use for my PS3 and the same thing happens. And I never have the issue with my PS3 or any other HDMI devices connected to the TV.

You still need to connect the PC to a different TV/Monitor to ensure it's not the PC.

Open the PC, and make sure the GPU is seated correctly, as sometimes during transport they can come a little dislodged.

Check the refresh rate is OK for the TV. It definitely looks like a setting rather than a problem

I know the refresh rate of the TV is 60 hz.

I really have no idea what to do. I don't have another monitor to try it out on.
