Does anyone have there roof wrapped and what are people's thoughts on it??
I have a siler astra bertone and thinking of getting either a matt black or black satin roof done, I think they look good but don't want to end up with something that looks like bubble wrap on my roof:P! How much does roof wrapping cost?

I have a friend who wraps vehicles (professionally, for his company), done well, it looks amazing. He wraps a lot of high end motors like Bentleys etc as many owners do not want the "stigma" of a respray on the cars history(a lot of these cars are brand new!) but want their car to be an unavailable colour. He wrapped a bleh green Porche(sp?) a while back to gloss black and with the existing tan leather interior it looked stunning. Wrapping can be class.

Ya I've only been looking it up recently and some of the jobs look unreal, like you said the massive stigma of getting it sprayed would make the car near impossible to sell after if I did spray it so that was a no so think this could be an idea due to being able to take of the wrapping if buyer doesn't like it, any idea how long they last?

Id imagine it would cost 50-75 for labor and another 40-50e for vinyl, since roof is easiest part to wrap but if going professional then youll be looking at 200e

My brother is very interested in looking in to this for his car which has some bad scratches on it. Is that €200 just for the roof or for an entire car. That would be very cheap considering re-spraying a car costs over a grand

Is there any issues with wrapping a car? I presume the wrapping is actually tougher than the original paint work so you wouldn't get half as many scratches on the car.

I know his company charge c.a €2k to wrap a full car depending on size and they're always busy - larger and fancier costs more. I don't see €200 going too far with them tbh! But I might be wrong.

I'd imagine any sign writer could do a roof quite cheaply.

Does the phrase "you get what you pay for' apply here?

I think you get a grant up there for black vinyl roofs.

Apparently he does carbon too, albeit with alternate stripes from grey and black markers. He will require a photo of your car hanging out over the edge of the local swimming pool for his portfolio though, for that price. Otherwise it's €5.05.

anyone who does windows tinting would to a car wrap, ans depending of car size shape youre looking at 1k-2.5 for full wrap only benefit from this i see if one panel gets scratched or bruzed only one vinyl needs to be replaced, which is a lot cheaper then spraipainting whole bumper etc.

The roof would definitely be the easiest part to do, full matt black one's look class, does anyone know how long they last for? It's a lot of money if only last 2 years or so.
