Hi, Can anyone point me to a link for the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 – Finance Act 2012 Edition. Can not find the entire act on www.irishstatutebook.ie or on the revenue site (Revenue have very good guide but I need the legislation). Any help is much appreciated.

    http://www.revenue.ie/en/practitioner/law/acts/taxes-consolidation-act-1997.html

You'll find the actual text of the 1997 Act on this page - in three sections. What you won't find is a text that incorporates 15 years of amendments.

The Irish Taxation Institute publishes such a volume - "Direct Taxes Acts". as does Tottel. ITI also publishes an e-version of the Direct Taxes Acts, which you can buy and read online.

Other than that, Revenue publish updated notes, as you've discovered.
