The new PS Move Steering Wheel looks amazing. It is built for car racing, motorbike racing and flight games. I like the design of it too.

Only $39.99 in the US so hopefully we get a decent price too.

    Link and video.

Looks like a gimmick in my opinion. There's no way it could be as accurate as a wired wheel and your arms are bound to get tired after holding it for a long period of time.

Yeah, I thought it might be fun to use.

Yeah, I thought it might be fun to use.

It might be for 5 minutes until your arms start to hurt and you get annoyed with the unresponsive piece of plastic in your hands.

I have no fears that this will be unresponsive or less accurate than a wired controller. The Move is an incredible piece of kit. It is constantly written off as a motion controller by people that use it in party games.

Put it to use in FPS or RTS and you see how versatile it is. I've used it in RTS and it is as good if not a bit more functional than a mouse.

Only issue with the wheel and others have touched on it is that your arms would get tired. But for games that are short sharp blasts it will be brilliant.

Not sure but no matter how heavy it is your arms will get very tired after a while.

it would be much better if they had it so maybe it could balance on your knees and tilted at an angle so makes driving more realistic?

I barely use the Move (got it in a deal when I was buying a new PS3 last year when my old one got YLOD) because I prefer a controller and always will. But yeah it's an amazing piece of kit. Far better than the Wii.

But do you use it with the right games, I couldn't play a RTS with a controller it was too clunky always stuck to a PC and a mouse for them but played Ubisofts RUSE, not the greatest game but it was so simple to control. I sat in my recliner and controlled vast armies with gentle movements in the air :D

Also slap it into the Sharp shooter and play Killzone 3 or Resistance 3 nothing comes close to looking down the sights of a gun playing an FPS. OR Sorcery was enjoyable too.

I've got a sharpshooter and yeah it's great with Killzone 3. And when I get around to playing Resistance 3 I'll dust it off for that.

As I said, I'm not criticising the technology which is great and works like a dream. Some people like using mouse and keyboard, I'm a PlayStation controller man. I feel out of my comfort zone using anything else.
