Only found out recently that my local CU has not paid any dividend for last year. Does anyone know if this is the case for other or most CUs for last year?

Yes as far as I know most havent. They are struggling to meet capital requirements as well as recapturing losses on their loan books.

I think most are still paying some kind of dividend but it is often very small, have heard before that the regulator has limited the maximum dividend in a lot of credit unions to .25% if they didn't meet reserves requirments.

i only realised your supposed to pay DIRT on dividends, i thought the CU took that out themselves.
